JOB SUMMARY:
ASSISTANT FOOD SERVICE MANAGER plays a crucial role in supporting overall operations of our restaurant. This position involves assisting with the management of daily operations, ensuring high standards of quality food and customer service.
Duties:
- Evaluate daily operations
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Set staff work schedules
- Supervise staff
- Train staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Leading/instructing individuals
- Provide customer service
- Manage events
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
Wage: 36.00 per hour. 40 hours per week
Proven experience in the food industry. Strong background in Cooking and food preparation. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting
knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is highly desirable.
