Our high-growth multinational firm is seeking an experienced and professional Finance Manager to join our team. This position will play a key role in the organization’s funding strategy and long-term financial security. Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years’ experience planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operation of financial and accounting departments. Candidate must possess direct experience in USA/Canada GAAP and majority of our transactions are through Canada, USA and China. Fluency in Mandarin, Portuguese, or Spanish is an asset. Accounting designations are preferred but not mandatory.
Be responsible for organizing daily financial accounting matters
Review of the company’s monthly income, cost, expense and current account
Reasonably control the departmental and personal expenses and timely settle the current account. Review each financial report and reflect the possible problems in the operation of the company in a timely manner
Develop, implement, review and enhance our financial policies, systems and procedures
Prepare financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports
Co-ordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates
Supervise the development and implementation of financial simulation models
Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting procedures – implement changes where warranted
Recruit, organize, train and manage accounting/bookkeeping staff
Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization’s financial performance.
Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
Develop/enhance allocation of resource procedures
· A Diploma in Finance or a professional accounting designation
· At least Five-years’ experience in corporate financial administration including accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and financial analysis is required
· Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
