Position: Cook (NOC 63200)
Duties:
– Cut, slice, barbecue, steam, boil, fry vegetables, fish and meat
– Prepare and cook complete meals, dishes and food
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements, and order kitchen supplies
– Maintain a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination.
– Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Terms of employment: 30-40 hours per week
Contract duration: Permanent
Language of work: English
Wage: $17 per hour
Benefits: Customer Gratuities, Vacation Pay is paid according to Alberta standard, Free meal during shift (6+ hour shift)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Certificate/License: Cooking Trade Certificate is required
