Job Description:

As a Transportation Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in overseeing the movement of goods and ensuring smooth logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and optimize the transportation of goods, maintaining effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. You will be involved in coordinating transportation, managing schedules, tracking shipments, and resolving any potential issues to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods in compliance with established procedures and regulations.

·        Track and monitor shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and taking proactive measures to prevent delays.

·        Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain seamless logistics operations.

·        Evaluate transportation costs and negotiate contracts with carriers to secure competitive rates.

·        Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during transportation and find prompt solutions.

·        Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics.

·        Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to optimize inventory management and distribution processes.

·        Stay updated on transportation regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

·        Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.

·        Proven work experience as a Transportation Logistics Coordinator or similar role.

·        In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, carrier operations, and logistics processes.

·        Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

·        Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.

·        Proficiency in using transportation management systems and other relevant software.

·        Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

·        Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate records.

·        Mandarin fluency is a bonus to better serve clients.
