Carpenter Full Time

Job Description:
Gautam Construction Ltd. located at 14718 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 2S3, urgently requires two Permanent & Full Time Carpenters. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
• Build foundations and beams, lay subflooring, erect, walls, operate power tools etc.
• Supervise other workers.

Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions- 2
Wage – $31.00 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
