Job Description:
Apply a mixture of cement, sand, pigment, or marble chips to floors, stairways, and cabinet fixtures to fashion durable and decorative surfaces.

Measure designated amounts of ingredients for terrazzo or grout according to standard formulas and specifications, using graduated containers and scales, and load ingredients into a portable mixer.

Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
Load materials into construction equipment.

Cut metal division strips and press them into the terrazzo base for joints or changes of color to form designs or patterns or to help prevent cracks.

Cut metal components for installation.
Apply decorative masonry finishes.

Job Requirements:
– Proven experience in terrazzo installation and a strong understanding of the craft.
– Knowledge of various terrazzo materials, binding agents, and additives.
– Proficiency in terrazzo installation techniques, including surface preparation, pouring, grinding, and polishing.
– Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and design specifications.
– Skills in terrazzo restoration and repair, including patching and polishing.
– Competence in operating terrazzo-specific tools and equipment.
– Good physical fitness and stamina for demanding tasks.
