Painter helper – Construction Full Time

Job Description:
Magic Painting Ltd. located at 2186 198 Street, Langley, BC V2Z 1Y8 urgently requires three permanent and full-time Painter helpers – construction. We welcome and encourage youth, new immigrants, and aboriginal candidates to apply.

Job Duties:
• Preparing the surface by scraping off old paint or other priming surfaces to be painted.
• Mixing and preparing paint according to the need of the project.
• Adding oils or other various kinds of solvents to create paints.
• Protecting Furniture, floors and other structures not to be painted.
• Assisting painter in job duties at work site.
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Cleaning brushes, rollers and other used tools and equipment after painting.
• Clean up the job site after work.
• Tend or feed any machines used for the work.
• Perform other activities as directed.

Job Requirements:
Education: No education required.
Experience: No experience is required and on job training will be provided.
Number of Positions: 3
Wage: $23.00/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation pay.
Work location: Various locations in lower mainland.
