Construction Helper Full Time

Job Description:
S & A Excavating Ltd., located at 7502 149 Street, Surrey, BC, V3S 0V1 urgently requires two Permanent & Full Time Construction Helpers. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites.
• Mix, pour and spread materials.
• Assist tradespersons in construction activities.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used at construction sites.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Job Requirements:
Education: No education required.
Experience: No experience is required and on job training will be provided.
Number of Positions: 2
Wage: $23.00/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4acation pay.
Work location: Various locations in lower mainland.
