About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor who brings strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to high service standards. This role is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, facilities, or service environments who is comfortable managing teams, solving problems, and staying calm under pressure. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision & Scheduling
Supervise cleaners and drivers, assign tasks, and manage daily and weekly schedules. Ensure all staff understand their responsibilities and complete their work to a high standard.
· Client & Owner Communication
Maintain regular contact with company owners and clients to report on site conditions, team performance, and any operational needs or concerns.
· Staff Support & Training
Train new team members and support staff development. Encourage a positive work environment and team collaboration.
· Payroll Coordination
Track employee hours and submit accurate timekeeping records to the accounting team for payroll processing.
· Inventory & Supplies
Ensure cleaning teams have the supplies and equipment they need each day. Monitor usage, avoid waste, and notify management when items need to be restocked.
· Quality Assurance & Site Checks
Perform regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service quality meet company and client expectations. Address any issues promptly.
· Budgeting & Records
Support the accounting team with estimating future contracts, and maintain basic records for supplies, services, and special jobs.
· Additional Services & Coordination
Recommend repairs, deep cleaning, or other services when needed. Coordinate with other teams or vendors as required.
· Hands-On Work
Be ready to jump in and assist with cleaning duties when necessary—especially during peak periods or staff shortages.
What You Bring
· Experience supervising staff in cleaning private and corporate settings
· Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills
· Working knowledge of basic estimating, inventory tracking, and reporting
· Ability to work flexible hours and manage a team across multiple sites
· Proficiency in using standard office tools (MS Office, Jobber software or other apps for scheduling or reporting)
· Willingness to lead by example and pitch in when needed
Education:
Completion of high school studies
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years of cleaning supervisor experience
3 to 5 years cleaning experience in private and corporate settings
