Position Highlights
· Role: Personal Support Worker – Nursing Aide
· Location: 73605 Sheppard Ave East, Toronto, Ontario, M1T 3K7
· Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
· Work Schedule: On site, with flexible hours — mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and more
· Salary: $36.00 per hour, 40 hours per week/ Overtime rate at 1.5 times reg pay
· Start Date: As soon as possible

However, the qualified candidate must obtain a certificate or diploma as a Personal Support Worker (Certificate of Completion, National Association of Career Colleges).

Responsibilities / Tasks
· Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
· Perform other duties related to personal care
· Supply and empty bed pans
· Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
· Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
· Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
· Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
· Supervise patients' exercise routines
· Maintain inventory of supplies
· Bathe, dress and groom patients
· Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
· Advise patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions
· Relaxation massage
· Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
· Assist chiropractor with patient health education
