KOH LIPE THAI KITCHEN is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our team in Toronto, ON. This role requires proven expertise in managing Thai and Asian-cuisine operations in a commercial restaurant setting. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure culinary excellence, and drive business growth through strategic leadership and hands-on management.

Job Details

·       Location: 35 Baldwin St., Toronto, ON, M5T 1L1

·       Work Location: On-site

·       Salary: $36.00 per hour / 40 hours per week

·       Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

·       Schedule: Evening, Shift, Flexible hours, Night, Day, Weekend

·       Start Date: As soon as possible

Qualifications

·       Language: English

·       Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required

·       Experience: Minimum 3 years, up to 5 years, in Thai/Asian culinary management within a commercial restaurant

·       Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Spreadsheet applications

·       Cuisine Specialty: Thai

Responsibilities

·       Evaluate daily restaurant operations for efficiency and quality

·       Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of food preparation and service

·       Modify menu pricing and food preparation methods based on budgetary constraints

·       Monitor and enhance staff performance; set work schedules and supervise more than 20 team members

·       Balance cash, complete balance sheets and related financial forms

·       Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers and clients

·       Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

·       Participate in marketing and promotional plans

·       Address customer complaints and concerns professionally

·       Manage events and catering arrangements

Work Conditions

·       Standing for extended periods; attention to detail required

·       Ability to multitask and work under pressure

·       No option for remote work; all duties must be performed on-site

Additional Requirements

·       Willingness to Relocate: Relocation costs covered by employer

·       Budgetary Responsibility: Manage budgets between $100,001 and $500,000

·       Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check required

·       Transportation: Public transportation available; free parking on site
