We are Hiring: Painter (1 vacancy)
Wage: $36.00
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
What You Will Be Doing
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:
· Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, sanding, and cleaning surfaces
· Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or written specifications to determine required materials and painting procedures
· Select and mix paint to achieve desired color and texture
· Cover floors, furniture, and adjacent surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect them from paint splatter
· Repair cracks, holes, or damaged surfaces using putty, plaster, or caulking
· Apply primers or sealers to surfaces before painting
· Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition
What We Are Looking For:
· At least one year of experience as a painter
· High school diploma or equivalent experience
· Strong attention to detail and great hand-eye coordination
· Comfortable standing for long periods
· A positive attitude and a team-player spirit
