Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the kitchen operations
- Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
- Supervise and coordinate work activities and schedules of kitchen staff engaged in food preparation
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
- May plan menus and determine food portions
- Create high quality sushi, sashimi, and rolls
- Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
- Check the quantity and quality of received products
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
- Secondary school graduation certificate is required
- At least 1 year of previous experience in commercial cooking industry is required

Wage
- Salary: $16.60 per hour for 35~40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
- Overtime (after 48 hours/week) $24.90 per hour
