Leon’s Furniture is a proudly Canadian company with a long-standing tradition of serving customers across the country. Our location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan (at 102 15th Street East) is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team.

This role allows you to lead by example: coaching team members and contributing to a fun, high-performing sales environment, while achieving your own individual sales goals. Work with Cashiers, Customer Service, Order Desk, Account Receivables for excellent customer satisfaction and fulfilling customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily activities of the sales team to ensure achievement of individual and team sales goals, including:
· Sales volume and profit margins
· Performance indices (e.g., VAPs – Value-Added Products)
· Customer satisfaction
• Assign sales associates to specific duties and prepare daily and weekly work schedules to maximize floor coverage and sales effectiveness.
• Provide real-time support during live customer interactions by coaching sales staff, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Authorize product returns, exchanges, and customer compensation, ensuring compliance with company policies and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Order desk for timely ordering and restocking of merchandise, especially for high-demand and promotional items.
• Participate in hiring and selection of sales staff; provide onboarding, ongoing training, and coaching in product knowledge, promotions, and sales techniques.
• Ensure the store’s visual standards and brand image are consistently maintained, including product displays, signage, cleanliness, and organization.
• Lead by example by occasionally performing duties of the sales floor team, ensuring alignment with customer service expectations and operational standards.
• Perform opening and closing responsibilities as required, including handling customer complaints, for merchandise deliveries.
• Develop and implement customer follow-up systems, particularly for extended warranties (VAPs), and maintain communication for warranty credits and claims.
• Stay current with local market conditions by regularly monitoring competitor pricing, products, services, and promotions to ensure competitiveness.
• Organize weekly and monthly sales team meetings to communicate updates, recognize achievements, and foster a motivated team environment. Document and follow up on action items.
What You Bring:
- Post-Graduation education in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 - 3 years of proven Sales & Customer Service experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a team-based environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn In-House Computer Programs
- Strong coaching, communication, and motivational skills
- Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude
- Willingness to work varied hours including days, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to ongoing training in sales strategies and product knowledge
- Must pass a Criminal Record Check
