Title of the position: Nail Care Technician – NOC 63211
Number of positions available: One
Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.
Language: English.
Wage: C$20.00 per hour.
Benefits: Extended health benefits will be offered after 3 months continuous employment.

Job Duties
· Clean, shape, and polish nails
· Apply nail polish, gel, acrylics, or other enhancements
· Remove old polish and artificial nails safely
· Nail Art and Design
· Create custom nail designs using paint, decals, gems, and other materials
· Stay updated on trends in nail fashion
· Discuss client preferences and recommend styles or treatments
· Assess nail and skin health and suggest appropriate care
· Sterilize tools and maintain a clean work environment
· Follow hygiene and safety regulations to prevent infections
· Use and recommend nail care products (e.g., cuticle oils, hand creams)
· Educate clients on proper nail care routines
· Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
· Handle appointments, payments, and sometimes retail sales
· Fix broken or damaged nails
· Perform touch-ups and refills for gel or acrylic nails
Requirements
· 1 year experience as a Nail Care Technician.
· High School Diploma.
· Familiar with industry best practices.
· Great written and verbal communication skills.
· Organizational skills.
· Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Follow direction and instructions.
