Specific Skills
· Prepare and mix welding-related materials, coatings, and surface treatment solutions as per job requirements
· Clean and prepare metal surfaces by removing rust, grease, or debris to ensure proper welding and finishing
· Operate equipment to treat and condition metal surfaces before and after welding
· Run machines used for coating, finishing, or protecting welded components
· Perform metal coating and protective applications to improve durability and corrosion resistance
· Use spray equipment to repair worn or damaged metal parts and apply protective or finishing layers
· Measure and inspect coating thickness and weld quality using appropriate tools such as gauges and calipers
· Polish and finish metal surfaces to meet quality and appearance standard
· Operate curing or heating equipment to properly set coatings and finishes

Security and Safety
Basic security clearance would be required.
For safety purposes. safety equipment like protective clothing, eye protection, safety shoes, hoods etc. should always be worn at the work site.
