Oyster Harvester / Labourer

We need a full time Oyster labourer in Tabusintac New Brunswick, with or without experience is acceptable.

Job Descriptions:

·      Sorting oyster, fixing oyster bag

·      preparing oyster bag

·      loading and unloading oyster from boat

·      lifting and sinking oyster

·      Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease

·      Maintain aquaculture equipment

·      Operate aquaculture equipment

·      Report stock irregularities to supervisors

·      Write daily basic progress reports

·      Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks

·      Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures

·      Dig shellfish from shellfish beds

·      Clean, sort and pack shellfish

·      Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms

·      Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks

Salary: 20.00 hourly

Full time: 40 to 50 hours per week
