Requirements
- Completion of high school
- Completion of a trade certification or apprenticeship program is an asset
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to learn and follow our extensive company safety policy
- Effective time management skills and ability to carry large and heavy objects
Responsibilities
· Read specification sheets and drawings to determine the type and thickness of glass and/or frame required
· Follow correct installation procedures of positioning glass into frame and securing through clips or moldings
· Measure, cut glass; smooth and polish rough edges as needed
· Installation of indoor/outdoor glasses in residential and commercial properties like shower door, glass partition, mirror, showcases, railings etc.
· Replace glass in fixtures and other glass products as required
· Assist in preparation of cost estimates and layouts for clients
