We are looking for a well experienced Cook for a well-known pizza Store “Sooke Pizzability” located at 2668 Sooke Road, Langford, BC V9B 1Y6, Canada. However, you may be required to work at a secondary location within the region.

JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and cook complete meals and individual food items, including pizzas, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings, and assemble pizzas to meet consistency, portion, and presentation requirements.
Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure appropriate cooking temperatures, baking times, and product quality.
Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain adequate inventory levels for daily kitchen operations.
Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and assist in stock rotation and storage.
Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train them in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and food preparation surfaces, to maintain sanitation standards.
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $20 to $22 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
