Apprentice Plumber

Mr. Plumbing Dr. Ltd. is seeking to hire two plumbers to join our company on a full-time basis. We are seeking a hardworking, experienced plumber. Mr. Plumbing Dr. Ltd is at 1559 Findlay Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X 5B3.

The Plumber will have a completion of Secondary School and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the field. Some industry courses, in addition to work experience, would be considered an asset.

The right candidate will perform the following duties:

· Ability to locate and assess plumbing problems. Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
· Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems layout.
· Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
· Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
· Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
· Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
· Ability to communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems and how to fix them.

We are offering $36.60/hr for 40 hrs/week. Our projects are in Kelowna and the surrounding areas.
