Live-in Caregiver - Seniors
A private family is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced full-time Live-in Caregiver to provide personal and bedside care for an elderly person, specifically a person with Alzheimer's disease, in the employer's home. Room and board will be provided. This is an on-site position with no option for remote work.
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Administering bedside and personal care.
Administering medications.
Assisting client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Assisting in regular exercise, such as walking.
Providing companionship and personal care.
Feeding or assisting in feeding.
Cooking / Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
Laundering clothing and household linens.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Language: Must be proficient in English.
Personal Suitability: Must be Punctual, Dependable, and Organized.
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.

Payment: 25.00 CAD/hr
Type of employment : 30 - 40 hours, full-time, permanent
