Bhinder Family residing on Delta, BC is looking to hire a home support worker to provide care to their elderly parent.
Job Title: Home support worker (NOC 44101)
Job type: Full time and Permanent
Salary: $24.50/ Hour for 30 hours a week
Minimum Education: High School
Language: English

Job Location: Private Home located in Delta, BC
Requirements:
Completion of High School
Minimum of 1-year full time paid work experience in similar positions
Completion of a 6-month full-time classroom training in a related field is an asset
Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early morning, day, early evening, and split shifts
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily routine from bed to washroom, bathing, personal care, dressing and undressing
Provide care and companionship to elderly
Aid in regular exercise e.g. walk
Plan and prepare nutritious meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
Support in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse
Perform some routine housekeeping duties related to elderly such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds
Complete other related duties as required
