We are a looking for a fun and loving childcare giver/nanny to join our family starting as soon as possible. We are a professional couple with two school-aged boys.
It is a full-time position, totaling 40 hours a week at $21 per hour. The hours are 7am to 9am Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 7:30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Wednesday and Friday. Overtime or weekend work is not anticipated. In case required, any work over 44 hours per week is overtime paid at $31.50 per hour. You will be provided up to 5 sick days per year and 2 weeks of paid vacation per year. Given this job involves driving, you will be paid $0.72 per km for the first 5000 km and $0.66 per km for any additional km above that.
A valid driver's license and a car is required for child pick up and drop off from school. Proficiency in English is a must. At least 3 years of experience in childcare would be an asset. We require a police check within the last year and a valid CPR/First aid certification. You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have a valid work permit in Canada to apply.
Duties include childcare, meal prep, light housekeeping, and children drop off/pick up.
