JOB DUTIES
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:
Supervision & Operations
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
Establish work schedules and procedures
Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Inventory & Quality Control
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for food preparation
Maintain records of stock, sales, repairs, and wastage
Monitor food quality and service standards to ensure consistency
Customer Service
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
Ensure customer service standards are met
General Duties
Assist with food preparation when required
Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas
Coordinate daily kitchen and front-of-house operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Completion of secondary school
Food Safe certificate
Previous experience in food service or restaurant operations
Ability to supervise and coordinate staff
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
