Job Requirements

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months of child care experience (experience is an asset)
Work Setting
Employer’s home
Work must be completed on site (no remote work option)
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and care for the child in the employer’s home
Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Organize age-appropriate activities such as games and outings
Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development
Tend to the emotional well-being of the child
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child care
Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents
