Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, appetizers, and side dishes according to the restaurant menu
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Measure, mix, and combine ingredients following recipes or using personal judgment and cooking techniques
- Inspect quality and freshness of ingredients before use and ensure cooked items meet restaurant standards
- Monitor inventory levels of food items, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
- Place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Ensure kitchen and work stations are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations
Education: Completion of Secondary High School
Language: English
Experience: 1 year of related cooking experience is required
