WANTED: CHILD CAREGIVER - PRIVATE HOME

Work location: Employer’s home (located a little outside of town)
Salary: $22.00 hourly / 36 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time; may work in the morning, evening, weekends, holidays; on call; overtime available
Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home
Responsibilities
· Take care of two minor children in employer’s home
· Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
· Shop for food and household supplies
· Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
· Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
· Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals
· Supervise and care for children
· Tend to emotional well-being of children
· Help children with homework
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Basic security clearance
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
