Job Duties:
- Preparing and irrigating soil to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Planting, fertilizing, thinning, and harvesting crops to maintain vine health and productivity.
- Picking grapes from rows and orchards with care to maintain quality.
- Sorting, weighing, and packing fruit directly at the farm for distribution or sale.
- Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, farm produce, and products for transport.
- Cleaning racks, trays, harvest bins, and conducting general cleanup of growing, producing, and packing areas.
- Assisting in general farm maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintaining farm equipment and tools to keep them in good working condition.
- Helping to prepare garden beds for planting as needed.
Working Conditions:
· Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
· Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
· Repetitive task.
· Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
