We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth service flow.
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
Manage POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing using Micros POS or similar systems.
Supervise food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and hospitality excellence.
Participate in interviewing potential staff members and assist in onboarding new employees.
Oversee restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols within the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
Support barista or beverage service operations if applicable, ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service or restaurant management; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally.
Leadership qualities with experience supervising teams and managing restaurant operations effectively.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including food handling regulations and kitchen procedures.
