Job Duties:
· Co-ordinate, assign and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
· Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain crop health and welfare
· Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
· Supervise, operate and maintain farm equipment
· Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
· Maintain quality control and production records
· May perform general farm duties.
Working Conditions:
· Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
· Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
· Repetitive task.
· Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
