Responsibilities
Tasks
Harvest seedlings
Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
Plant bulbs and seeds
Pot and re-pot plants
Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
Prepare soil, plant, seed, transplant, seedlings, and rooted cuttings.
Protect young trees from the winter weather.
Inspect plants for pests and treat them to avoid the disease to spread to other trees.
Water small trees regularly ensuring that the soil is dry between each watering.
Clean, maintain and store tools and equipment daily.
Plant seedlings on the ground when they reach 6 in tall.
Other general farm duties as assigned.
