We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced caregiver to join our family and provide attentive and, nurturing care for our four‑year‑old child at our residence in Toronto Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is committed to creating a safe, calm, and supportive environment where the child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide consistent, loving, and attentive care to support the child’s well‑being, and growth.
· Maintain a safe and organized environment, ensuring all daily activities take place in clean, child‑friendly spaces.
· Plan, prepare and serve nutritious snacks and meals.
· Engage the child in age‑appropriate developmental activities that support cognitive, emotional, and social development.
· Supervise daily routines, including meals, rest periods, hygiene, and outdoor play.
· Monitor the child’s health, behavior, and developmental progress, communicating any concerns or changes to parents.
· Assume full responsibility for the child’s safety and wellbeing in the absence of parents
· Accompany child to and fro from school.
· Perform light housekeeping duties relating to childcare.
Qualifications & Experience
1-2 years experience caring for infants or young children
Completion of secondary schooling
Additional training in childcare or a related field will be an asset.
CPR/First Aid certification
Eligible to work in Ontario
Strong verifiable references required
