Automotive Service Technician
We are looking for a well experienced Automotive Service Technician for “Thornhill Hyundai” located at 7200 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J 1V8, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect vehicles in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues.
Diagnose faults and adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components of automotive systems, including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications using diagnostic tools and dealership repair procedures.
Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
Review work orders and discuss repair requirements with the supervisor to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of service.
Estimate parts and labour requirements for repairs and maintenance services.
Advise customers on work performed, vehicle condition, and future repair or maintenance requirements.
Coach and instruct apprentices by demonstrating proper repair techniques, safety procedures, and manufacturer service standards.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed in accordance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.
Provide customer service by supporting clear communication and helping ensure timely and efficient vehicle servicing.
Prerequisites:
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent experience.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $ 41.00 per Hour for 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
