Our location at 123 Edward Street, Suite 1520, Toronto, ON is urgently seeking a full‑time Bookkeeper who can thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment and support our growing administrative and financial operations.
Job Duties of this position include:
· Maintain accurate financial records and establish, balance, and update various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
· Record and post transactions in journals and the general ledger for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
· Reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
· Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with established procedures.
· Prepare cheques for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other operational expenses.
· Prepare annual T4 forms and other required year‑end documentation.
· Complete and submit tax remittance forms,
· Complete and submit tax remittances, including HST and source deductions.
· Post journal entries and ensure the general ledger remains balanced.
· Maintain a balanced general ledger
· Assist with the preparation of the audits, budgeting processes, financial summaries and statistical reports.
· Perform additional related duties as required to support clinic operations.
Additional skills:
· Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
· Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements including payroll and tax compliance
· Ability to manage financial data, analyze information, and maintain organized records.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Education: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field.
Overtime:1.5 times the wage after 44 hours per week
