Chef De Partie - Seafood
We are looking for well-experienced Chef De Partie - Seafood for a well-known restaurant “Browns Socialhouse”, located at #101- 1180 Columbia St W, Kamloops, BC, V2C 6R6, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and cook seafood dishes including fish and shellfish according to Browns Socialhouse recipes, cooking techniques, and plating standards.
Lead and manage the seafood station during service, coordinating preparation and cooking to ensure timely execution of orders.
Apply specialized seafood preparation techniques including filleting, portioning, grilling, pan-searing, and roasting of fish and shellfish.
Prepare seafood sauces, reductions, and accompaniments to complement menu items and maintain flavor consistency.
Instruct and supervise cooks assigned to the seafood station on proper seafood handling, preparation, and cooking methods.
Inspect seafood deliveries and ingredients to ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage according to food safety standards.
Monitor portion control, ingredient usage, and seafood inventory to support cost control and reduce food waste.
Maintain sanitation, organization, and operational readiness of the seafood station in compliance with kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
Prerequisites:
Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in the food industry.
Language English
Hourly Rate: $36.60 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
