Chef De Partie - Mediterranean
We are looking for experienced Chef De Partie - Mediterranean for Ma-Ro Catering located at 31 Railside Rd, #3, North York, ON M3A 1B2, Canada. As well as various locations in the region.

JOB DUTIES:
Lead the preparation and cooking of Mediterranean cuisine dishes including grilled meats, seafood, vegetables, and rice or grain-based dishes for banquet and catering service.
Prepare and cook Mediterranean menu items such as marinated grilled meats, roasted vegetables, seafood dishes, mezze-style appetizers, and Mediterranean sauces according to standardized recipes.
Execute Mediterranean cooking techniques including grilling, roasting, braising, and sautéing while ensuring authentic flavour profiles and presentation.
Prepare traditional accompaniments such as herb marinades, olive oil–based sauces, garlic sauces, and spice blends commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine.
Organize and maintain mise en place for the Mediterranean station to support efficient production during high-volume catering and banquet events.
Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meats, seafood, vegetables, and other Mediterranean ingredients.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff assigned to the station to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to culinary standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards during food preparation and service.
Prerequisites:
Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or above experience within the Food Industry.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
