Employment start date: As soon as possible
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Decorate baked goods that includes rolls pastries and cakes
Prepare ingredients for cake decorations - cutting, shaping, seasoning and colouring
Perform icing, decorating, and maintaining showcase
Observe colour and state of baked products
Prepare orders of cakes
Monitor baking equipment on a daily basis to ensure a smooth operation of baking
Maintain the baking area clean at all times
Order necessary baking supplies and ingredients when necessary
Keep track of baking time to prevent any burnt or under-cooked baked goods
Using the measuring scale, measure or weight ingredients to prepare dough, fillings or icings
Monitor ingredients such as eggs, milk, flour, sugar etc for quantity and freshness
Operate machinery
Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
College diploma required
Several years of previous experience
Work conditions and physical capabilities
Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Repetitive tasks, Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended period of time, Attention to details, Ability to distinguish between colours
Wage
Salary: $20 ~ $25 per hour for 30~44 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
