Tasks

·         Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures

·         Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines

·         Construct patterns and templates

·         Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

·         Grinder

·         Shears

·         Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Area of specialization Structural metal or steel

Security and safety Basic security clearance, Driver's validity licence check

Transportation/travel information

·         Valid driver's licence
