Pay rate: $28.05 per hour.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sewer Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of sewer and drainage systems, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
· Inspect, clean, and maintain sanitary and storm sewer systems.
· Remove blockages, debris, and sludge from pipes and catch basins.
· Dig trenches or access points for sewer maintenance.
· Assist skilled tradespersons with sewer repair or relining.
· Load, unload, and maintain equipment and supplies.
· Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean.
· Record work completed and report issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· On-the-job training will be provided.
· Previous experience in sewer maintenance, construction, or general labor is an asset but not required.
· Ability to operate hand tools and basic equipment safely.
· Physical stamina to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
· Strong teamwork skills and adherence to safety protocols.
· Valid driver’s license preferred.
