Job Description
Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Term of Employment: Permanent/Full Time/ 30-40 hours per week
Compensation: $38.50 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours per week
Working Conditions: Job involves Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, weekends and holiday work.
Languages: English
Education: Applicant must have completed Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work setting: Rural area, Retail business
Ability to Supervise: 3 to 4 people
Specific Skills: Direct and control daily operations, Plan and organize daily operations, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, Evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Develop and implement marketing strategies, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
