Responsibilities
Tasks
Install, assemble, and configure self-service kiosks, digital signage units, video wall systems, and related electronic hardware at Eflyn facilities and client sites
Inspect, test, and verify electronic equipment, components, cabling, peripherals, and assemblies prior to deployment and during on-site installation
Perform mounting, wiring, cabling, alignment, connection, and system setup in accordance with technical specifications, manuals, and schematics
Conduct system testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault isolation on kiosks, displays, media players, computers, peripherals, and related business electronic equipment
Repair or replace defective components, assemblies, cables, connectors, and hardware using hand tools, power tools, and standard diagnostic equipment
Perform preventive maintenance, service calls, and post-installation adjustments to ensure proper equipment performance and client satisfaction
Complete installation reports, service records, maintenance logs, and related work orders accurately and on time
Stage and prepare equipment for deployment, including functional checks, accessory verification, and configuration of hardware components
Maintain technical tools, replacement parts, and service-related inventory required for installations and repairs
Provide basic on-site technical guidance to clients regarding the safe operation and basic use of installed kiosk and display systems
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and client site requirements during installation, service, and repair work
Skills & Requirements:
Secondary school diploma required
Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in installation, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair of kiosks, digital displays, computers, peripherals, AV systems, or other business electronic equipment
Experience using hand tools and power tools for installation, assembly, mounting, and repair work
Experience with equipment testing, diagnostics, and fault identification
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, installation guides, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Ability to travel to customer sites as required
Valid driver’s licence is an asset
Post-secondary education in a related technical or engineering field is an asset
Equivalent practical experience and on-the-job technical training will be considered

Travel to client sites across Ontario and Canada is required
Occasional cross-border travel to client sites in the United States may be required based on project needs and legal travel eligibility
