We are seeking Executive Sous Chef at 1050 Paignton House Road, Minett, ON P0B 1G0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Oversee daily culinary operations across multiple resort dining outlets, banquet functions, and seasonal food service venues in coordination with the Executive Chef.
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and consistent food quality.
Plan and develop menus, daily features, and seasonal offerings in accordance with Marriott standards and guest preferences.
Monitor food preparation, portioning, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards.
Manage food inventory, purchasing, receiving, and storage procedures while minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, WHMIS, and occupational health and safety regulations in all kitchen areas.
Coordinate food production and service for conferences, weddings, private events, and high-volume resort functions.
Assist in daily kitchen planning and staff coordination to ensure efficient food production and service operations.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Language: English
Experience: 5 years of executive-level kitchen management experience in the food service industry.
Annual Salary: 80k to 85k CAD for 30 hours to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
