Role Overview
We are seeking a highly specialized Health Studio Manager to lead our wellness operations in Calgary. This role is designed for a professional who integrates the discipline of high-performance sports management with advanced yogic science, human longevity, and recovery therapies. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the operations of a comprehensive fitness and yoga service organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the operations of comprehensive recreation, sports, and fitness programs.
Specialized Wellness Programming: Design and oversee advanced programs focused specifically on human longevity therapy and athletic recovery.
Strategic Growth: Develop long-range plans and negotiate business contracts to ensure sustainable growth.
Technical Advisory: Provide professional and technical advice to management on recreation, sports science, and fitness matters.
Financial Stewardship: Prepare budget estimates and develop policies and procedures to implement programs effectively.
Personnel Management: Recruit and manage professional coaches, athletes, and yoga practitioners.
Program Administration: Organize and administer training, coaching, officiating, and other specialized yoga-associated programs.
External Relations: Direct fundraising drives and arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations.
Supervise a team of 5-10 persons
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Certification: Must be RYT 500 compliant.
· Specialized Pedagogy: Must hold a qualification in Vini Yoga from a recognized institute and demonstrate high proficiency in the style.
· Professional Tenure: A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically as an RYT 500 practitioner.
· Global Perspective: Documented international experience within the yoga or fitness industry.
· Technical Expertise: Practical experience and deep knowledge in human longevity therapy and athletic recovery protocols.
· Managerial Background: Proven experience in planning and directing operations for recreation, sports governing agencies, or fitness organizations.
Budgetary responsibility
$500,001 - $1,500,000
