A loving family in Fort McMurray (T9K 0J8) is looking for a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to help look after their sweet 1‑year‑old. This is a full‑time, permanent position, working 35–40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $20/hour. Work is done in the family’s home, and optional live‑in accommodation can be provided at no cost (not a requirement).
About the Role
We’re looking for someone who enjoys caring for toddlers and understands the needs of a busy, curious 1‑year‑old. The caregiver will help with daily routines, safety, and developmental activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Changing diapers and keeping the child clean and comfortable
Helping with early toilet‑training readiness (following parents’ lead)
Preparing bottles, formula, and simple meals/snacks
Bathing, dressing, and feeding the child
Maintaining nap routines and a consistent daily schedule
Supervising the child at all times and ensuring a safe environment
Planning age‑appropriate activities (sensory play, reading, outdoor walks, simple games)
Supporting emotional development with patience and positive interaction
Keeping notes on meals, naps, and daily activities
Taking full responsibility for the child when parents are away

A high school diploma is required. Experience with infants or toddlers is an asset.
