📍 Location: Bentley, AB

💼 Position: Full‑time, Permanent

⏰ Hours: 35–40 hours/week (flexible daytime schedule)

💰 Wage: $22–$23/hr (negotiable)

You’ll be part of a warm, community‑focused childcare centre, helping create meaningful learning experiences for children. This role involves planning activities, supporting development, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating individualized learning plans based on children’s developmental needs

• Leading activities such as storytelling, songs, crafts, and outdoor exploration

• Encouraging creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and movement

• Supporting children with healthy routines (eating, dressing, toileting)

• Preparing snacks and setting up rooms for daily activities

• Observing children for developmental or behavioural concerns and communicating with parents

• Maintaining daycare equipment and ensuring a safe environment

• Collaborating with co‑workers and community partners

• Participating in staff meetings and contributing to program planning

• Ensuring compliance with childcare licensing regulations

🎓 What You Bring

• ECE Certificate (required)

• 1–2 years of experience working with children

• Strong communication skills

• Creativity, patience, and a genuine love for working with kids

• Ability to multitask and stay organized

• Reliability, honesty, and a team‑focused attitude

• Ability to meet physical demands (bending, kneeling, lifting up to 20 lbs)

• Immunization records and ability to obtain a basic security clearance
