Responsibilities/Tasks
Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
Hire, supervise and schedule staff
Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns
Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property
Schedule work
Plan and direct grounds maintenance
Plan and estimate labour and materials
Maintain work records and logs
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
Greenhouse cleaning
Coordinate planting and cultivating activities
Conduct quality control
Monitor air, water and soil quality
Supervision - Staff in various areas of responsibility
