Food Services Manager
We are looking for a well experienced Food Services Manager for Vagabondo RestoBar located at 310 Front St West Toronto, ON M5V 3A4, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
Develop and implement operational procedures, service standards, and quality control measures to maintain a high-quality Italian dining experience and consistent customer satisfaction.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and food service supervisors, ensuring adequate staffing levels and productivity.
Monitor staff performance, conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and corrective action when required, and foster a positive and professional work environment.
Analyze sales reports, labour costs, food costs, and operating budgets to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality and cost controls.
Coordinate with kitchen management to oversee menu implementation, pricing strategies, food presentation standards, and efficient service delivery.
Organize and maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, supplies, and restaurant equipment; negotiate purchasing arrangements with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and municipal regulatory requirements.
Address and resolve customer complaints, service issues, and special requests promptly and professionally to maintain the restaurant's reputation and guest loyalty.
Participate in marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, special events, and community engagement activities to increase customer traffic and revenue.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the food industry.
Language:English
Hourly Rate: $ 36.00 to $ 37.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
