Key Responsibilities:
Read and understand blueprints, drawings and sketches;
Determine work specifications and calculate required materials;
Prepare measured layouts which confirms with building code requirements;
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wooden materials, lightweight steel, and other framing material;
Work with structural skeleton erection, building foundations, installation of floor; beams, erection of walls, placing studs, and roofing work;
Install doors, stairs, moulding and other hardware, as required by contract;
Work at various residential renovation and repair contract sites;
Supervise helper labourers at work sites;
Any other relevant tasks and duties requested by the manager/ management.
