Position Title: Supermarket Clerk

Job Duties: Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery; Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom; Direct customers to location of articles sought; Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items; Maintain computerized stock inventory; Order stock; Record incoming stock; Stock shelves and display areas; Keep stock clean and in order; Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list; Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting; Fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock; Perform general cleaning duties; Order picking; Provide customer service.
Work in grocery store setting, fast-pace environment, under pressure.
Employment Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; work experience of at least one year.
Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel; Organized; Reliability; Team player.
Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 40 hours/week
Wage: $17.00/hour
Benefit Package: Relocation costs covered by employer; 2 weeks of paid vacation
