Distillerie New Brunswick Distillery is seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Distillery Foreman to oversee daily production operations at our Bathurst facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a growing distillery while leading a dedicated team in a hands-on production environment.

Number of positions available: one.
Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.

Wage: C$28.85 per hour

Job Duties
· Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily production activities for gin, vodka, and rum, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, filtration, blending, bottling, labelling, and packaging.
· Oversee the production of gin, vodka, and rum to ensure products are made according to approved recipes, production standards, quality specifications, and work schedules.
· Assign tasks to production staff, monitor workflow, and ensure employees follow proper operating procedures, safety rules, sanitation practices, and company policies.
· Inspect production areas, tanks, stills, pumps, hoses, bottling lines, and packaging equipment to ensure they are clean, safe, and operating properly.
· Requisition and monitor raw materials and supplies, including grains, molasses or sugar products, botanicals, yeast, water, bottles, labels, closures, cleaning chemicals, and packaging materials.
· Train production employees in job duties, safe equipment operation, sanitation procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies.
· Resolve day-to-day production problems, recommend improvements to increase productivity and product quality, and help reduce waste, downtime, and rework.
· Prepare production reports, inventory records, maintenance notes, quality control records, and other operational documentation as required.
· Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, food and beverage production, sanitation, and alcohol manufacturing requirements.
· Communicate with management and other departments to coordinate production priorities, staffing needs, equipment use, packaging schedules, and finished product availability
Requirements
· 2 years experience in a similar role.
· High School Diploma.
· Familiar with industry best practices, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
· Written and verbal communication skills.
· Organizational skills.
· Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
· Follow directions and instructions.
